    The workshops are designed for farmers at all levels of experience.

    Yes! Staff from Up in Farms and NRCS are available to provide you free farm visitations and technical assistance.

Mr. Johnson joined Up in Farms after a prestigious 30+ year career at USDA NRCS, including a 12-year term as the State Soil Scientist for Mississippi. Mr. Johnson's experience in both soil science and conservation make him an indispensable fount of knowledge for technical support and training for our farming community.

Dex recently completed training in a master irrigation program and provides technical assistance in irrigation for small farms. Additionally, Dex has training in drone services specifically for mapping farm plots.
