UPCOMING EVENTS

GET INVOLVED

Climate Smart Community

The purpose of this group is to share information about climate-smart initiatives recently introduced by USDA and learn about opportunities to participate. Specifically, Up in Farms has been awarded a Climate-Smart project for the states of Mississippi and South Carolina, and we are actively recruiting producers. Come here to ask your questions and learn if the program is right for you!

Delta USDA Regional Food Business Center

The USDA Regional Food Business Centers will support a more resilient, diverse, and competitive food system. These Regional Food Centers will support producers by providing localized assistance to access local and regional supply chains, including linking producers to wholesalers and distributors. They will provide technical assistance needed to access new markets, access to federal, state, and local resources, and will assist small- and mid-sized producers in overcoming barriers to market access, with a focus on underserved farmers, ranchers, and food businesses.

Local Food Promotion Program

This USDA-sponsored project is committed to developing the best practices and online recordkeeping for your food safety compliance. Through the project, Up in Farms is developing a full-scale software platform that integrates your food safety, production, conservation, and even Micro Farm insurance records. The group is also dedicated to developing training for each and every policy, procedure, and record in our free food safety plan so that you can develop your own plan step-by-step and at your own pace.
